REJECT RATE BY SORT DAY

The rate ran 3.08% for the first thirteen days and 0.87% after. Four of the last six sort days found nothing at all. Something upstream changed around day fourteen, and this is how you know the fix took hold, and when the sort can stop.

WHAT THIS TELLS YOU

Frequent small releases early to keep the line running and build safety stock. Larger, less frequent releases once there was enough, to drive down logistics cost.

A number tells you what happened. A record tells you what to stop paying for.

Reporting is not the paperwork after the sort. It is what ends the next one.
