Absorbing equipment-based appliance switch production
When a washing machine hidden-lid switch assembly line became difficult to staff and inconsistent demand created backlog, RELY stepped in to stabilize production and take on the operational burden. RELY initially operated the semi-automated line out of the customer’s facility, created work instructions, quality inspection instructions, and PM instructions, and later moved the equipment into the RELY facility, freeing space for the customer to install three new injection molding presses.
That initial success led to two additional appliance switch assembly lines moving into RELY’s facility two years later, expanding support across washing lid switches, hidden lid switches, and snap rotary switches.
